CTC is an independent national non-profi (501c4) healthcare consortium dedicated to helping rural hospitals and healthcare providers improve communications, collaboration, and telehealth capabilities.

We help hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare providers navigate the process to obtain a 50% network cost reduction through the Healthcare Connect Fund.

Since the Telecom Act of 1996, over $6 billion has been set aside by the Universal Service Fund to help subsidize healthcare networks and Internet access.  Using the fund, we were able to build the largest healthcare data and telehealth network in America. With over 400 sites on the network, collectively, they'll save more than $170 million in network and Internet costs over the next ten years.

Yet less than 10% of the fund has been awarded.  Why? Because the funding program and application process is extremely challenging and complex.  But we can help.  We know how to navigate the Healthcare Connect Fund.  Here's how:

Consortium Development

Requirements of the Healthcare Connect Fund dictate urban medical centers must work within a consortium that contains at least 51% rural providers, as defined by the Healthcare Connect Fund reuglations.  As the principle architect of the New England Telehealth Consortium (NETC), the largest single telehealth consortium in the United States, we have the experience and proven record of building consortiums for the benefit of both urban and rural healthcare providers.
