Improving Healthcare

Interconnecting healthcare providers improves their ability to interoperate and serve the needs of their constituent populations, with the end result being an improved patient experience.

The primary goal of the network is to improve collaboration and communications for members of the consortium.

Often, a consortium begins with a number of anchor HCPs that have been relatively isolated from each other with respect to each HCP running its own network.  Information exchange has not historically been easy or quick outside the scope of the existing private networks.

The objective is to build a consolidated network platform—a network of networks—that, even if independently managed, can begin to communicate in new ways in order to increase the amounts and types of healthcare information that can be exchanged in order for the healthcare community to more effectively interoperate to provide holistic healthcare to the communities they serve.

Over time, consortia add new member HCP’s, new shared services, new opportunities to collaborate, and new telehealth operations.
