- Question: We are working on a bid for the RFP attached. On the last pages you have Network Diagrams on how you want the network setup. We are unable to supply Decentralized Internet Access & a Managed Cloud-Based Firewall. We can however place an internet connection at the main location and supply a managed firewall service on premises. Would this be a viable solution if we placed our bid in this format?
Answer: This would be a viable solution, please review section 15.6 of the RFP which gives an overview of our scoring criteria. - Question: We do not offer a hosted firewall solution with decentralized internet as a node off of our MPLS services. We do have the ability to offer internet at two locations, a primary and failover, with automatic failover between internet sites for all MPLS nodes via BGP Peering. We would increase the MPLS circuit bandwidth at the internet locations to ensure that all bandwidth needs stated in the RFP are met for MPLS and Internet connectivity. This being taken into consideration, is Northkey Community Care able to take other solutions into consideration outside of the proposed solution in the RFP? Please let us know.
